1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Seoulected website (the “Site”), operated by Egong Egong Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in the Republic of Korea, with its registered office at 2–6F, 308, Sinbanpo-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea (06533).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

The Site is a general information website that presents our brand and products and helps visitors find offline retailers. The Site does not sell products and does not process orders or payments. Any purchase of our products takes place through independent third-party retailers, on their own terms.

2. Changes to the Site and these Terms

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

3. Use of the Site

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and informational purposes only. You agree not to:

use the Site in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems;
interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation or security, including by introducing malware, or by scraping, harvesting, or using automated means to extract data except as permitted by our robots.txt or with our prior written consent;
copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute Site content except as allowed in Section 4;

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site if you breach these Terms.

All content on the Site — including the Seoulected name, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, product images, videos, layout, and design — is owned by or licensed to Egong Egong Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view and download content solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not remove any copyright or proprietary notices. You may not otherwise use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written permission.

All trademarks, product names, and brand elements not owned by us that appear on the Site are the property of their respective owners.

5. Store locator and third-party information

The Site includes a store-finder feature that shows offline retailers where our products may be available, displayed on a map powered by Google Maps.

You acknowledge that:

retailer listings, locations, opening hours, and product availability are provided for general guidance and may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate;
we do not operate these retailers and are not responsible for their stock, pricing, service, or conduct;
we recommend confirming availability with the retailer before visiting.

Your use of the map is also subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy (see policies.google.com/terms and policies.google.com/privacy).

6. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these for convenience only and do not endorse or take responsibility for their content, products, or practices. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Enquiries and your submissions

If you contact us through the Site’s enquiry form, you agree to provide accurate information and not to submit unlawful, infringing, or offensive content. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the form.

By submitting content to us (such as feedback or suggestions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it for the purpose of operating and improving our brand and the Site, without obligation to you. We handle personal data you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Product information disclaimer

We aim to keep product descriptions, images, and other information on the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that such information is complete, current, or error-free. Product appearance, formulation, packaging, and availability may vary by market and retailer and may change without notice. Nothing on the Site constitutes advice (including medical, health, or cosmetic advice); for specific concerns, consult a qualified professional.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Egong Egong Inc. and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any third-party content or retailer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law applicable to you as a consumer.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Egong Egong Inc. from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea. If you use the Site as a consumer in another country, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence may still apply to you.

14. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
